Dear travelers – welcome to our website!

We look forward to seeing you soon at Finca Buena!

Finca Buena is nestled gently in the mountains in the sunny southeast of Tenerife at an altitude of 600 m. Surrounded by nature and quiet as it gets, it is a wonderful place to take a little break away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal towns. From here you have a wide view of the coast and the Atlantic, with Gran Canaria in the distance.

Our family bought “Finca Buena” a good 20 years ago and gradually made it habitable. Around four hectares belong to it, crossed by a small valley, all in a very sparsely populated protected area. When designing the buildings, we oriented ourselves towards the natural structures of the extensive area, and this has resulted in some extraordinary accommodations. Some of our guests compare our finca with a small “hobbit village”.

How would you enjoy this quiet place?

The main traffic routes of the island can be reached quickly: 2km to the old main road of he island (carretera general, Icor), 7 km to the motorway (Autopista Sur, Las Eras), the south airport (TFS) is only 30 km away, and Santa Cruz is 45 km to the east.

In the morning you will experience unforgettable sunrises over the sea and in he evening you can enjoy an amazing view of the starry sky. Breath is delighted by the wonderful, clean air mixed with the scent of native plants. Since most of the days are warm, you’ll love to chill by the pool or enjoy an icy cocktail or lemonade on the lounge chair or hammock. And the few others when it’s a bit cloudy, you’ll welcome the change and enjoy the sight of the fairytale clouds that climb the mountain. We love the feeling of arriving after a long day or a trip and immersing yourself in the peace and quiet here on the finca, with the only sounds being the wind through the leaves and the squeaks of the lizards, sometimes a roster croaking or a dog barking. Welcome on “Finca Buena”!

With an altitude of 3,718 m (12,198 ft), Mount Teide is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic.

Tenerife boasts one of the world’s best skies for stargazing (together with Chile and Hawaii).

The temperature rarely drops below 20°C (68°F) on the coast, even in winter. Trade winds, together with the refreshing Gulf air currents, are the major weather factors.

The island has great surfing spots ranging from beginner to advanced, the best waves are during the winter months.

Although expansive and very geographically diverse, the island is well connected with highways and generally you cannot travel more than 100 km in any direction.
