“We had wonderful, relaxed two weeks of vacation in “our” vacation home. First of all: The road up seemed (!) a bit adventurous at first, because the road is steep and narrow, but after the second drive it was immediately clear that the last two kilometers to the finca can be driven without any problems, also no car came towards us in two weeks. The welcome: With a coffee and a delicious apple pie, baked by Paolo, our host, we were warmly welcomed on the terrace by Katharina, our hostess. The house: In the kitchen a welcome present awaited us, with fresh fruit, wine, coffee, beer and water. The kitchen is extremely well equipped with plenty of cooking utensils, dishes and a new gas stove. The winter garden was great for us: Since we were on vacation on the finca in January and it got quite cool after sunset, we sat comfortably in the winter garden, in the evenings and for breakfast, surrounded by Opuntia cacti. It’s as if you were sitting in a botanical garden, but in spite of everything there are views down to the sea. Every morning it was a wonderful spectacle to watch the sun rise from the terrace, as it bathed the hillside next door in golden light. The cock crowed, everything was peaceful and warmed the soul. The yoga classes with Katharina were a special time: outdoors, with a view of the valley and over the finca. Katharina is an experienced, dedicated and sensitive yoga teacher. You can arrange extraordinary, individual yoga classes with her by appointment. Thank you very much for the hospitality we were able to experience. Katharina and Paolo approach their work with care, warmth and courtesy. This made the vacation on the Finca, besides the wonderful, quiet location, something very special”.
